Christmas!! and everything through early February.

Christmas was a blast this year! The kids are all big enough to really be excited about it and open things on their own. Lane has been old enough for ages of course, but the girls are at a great age for it all now.

We have been doing one person at a time opening gifts, taking turns, but last year it took hours. This year Josh and I decided everyone would get their pile and just go at it. We stood by and took pictures while they dug in :)

Lane got to shop at school for gifts for his family. This was his gift to Kate, a little stuffed zebra :) 

All 3 kids got baseball gloves this year! The girls got their first ones, Lane got a bigger one because his was from when he was about the girls' ages, lol.

Night Vision goggles! 

All 3 of them also got Snuggie blankets. I was a little worried that they wouldn't use them much but they ended up loving them! Lane and Kate use theirs the most :) 

The girls got a shared gift -a big box of dress up stuff!

The aftermath...

  Santa left the biggest, bestest present outside!! The kids discovered it when we started opening the blinds after breakfast. They went nuts! 

It was BLAZING HOT on Christmas day. So hot, in fact, that Josh had to cover his head from the sun. 

 By the time everyone got dressed and headed back out to play Lane had hit the front yard (and the neighbors house) to play with the bigger kids. The girls went straight to the swing set :) 

        Dinnertime!!

Lane started karate!! He is over the moon! He got a power stripe on his belt for awesome push-ups. His form was great and he did them perfectly, pretty good for his 2nd day!
