Kayleigh spotted these flowers on our way in and took one. You'll spot the flower in some pictures later, she carried it with her all day long :)
Turkeys!
Chickens! Kate stuck her finger in some fresh, goopy, chicken poo. Ew. She wasn't bothered by it, though, lol. Just let me wipe it off and kept after the chickens!
Lane and Kate had no fear of the chickens, Kayleigh was a little apprehensive...
Pony rides!
Lane always likes the horses, Kayleigh liked them last year but wasn't really happy about them this year. She was asking to get off about halfway around.
Kate, on the other hand, was THRILLED about riding the pony!
These might have been Kate's favorite's. She tried to pick them all up, lol. Kayleigh wasn't scared of being in there but she wanted pretty much nothing to do with touching them!
Perfect example: Kayleigh is trying to get to me but had to squeeze between a goat and a guy and didn't want the goat to touch her! Meanwhile, the goat wanted to rub it's head on her :)
Our friend that was with us took this picture from the front, I need to get the picture she has!
No no, Kate. That's not how you do it!
Waiting to go chase the ducks :)
Where did Kate go? Oh yeah, she took off to chase the ducks alone. No fear!
Kate was getting her hands full of dirt and leaves and wanted to feed it to the ducks.
Kayleigh was looking very intently into this ducks eye, lol.
Ducky love.
Kate was touching it's nose. Yuck!
Daddy and the donkey.
I don't know what this evil look was about, but it was funny!
Jay was trying to keep Kate from shoving hay in her ears, lol.
and up her nose...
Trying to get a good family picture and Kate pulls one of these. Awesome.
We did end up with a pretty good one, though.
And that concludes the day at the petting farm.
Just a random day, but Kate thought eating a pear with a spoon would be fun.
Halloween, anyone?
This year we had Olivia the Pig, Iron Man, and Jessie!
Everyone had a great time this year! Kayleigh told everyone 'trick or treat!' and Kate had no fear of going to the doors. She was lil miss lazy pants, though. She would get out of the stroller at every stop and climb right back in to ride to the next stop. She did insist on carrying her own bucket the whole time, though.
The kids checking out our neighborhood scary house. I got a picture but it's super blurry from across the street. They have a big van with with a creepy guy in it, everything has caution tape all over it, scary skeletons hanging places, super loud creepy music, and loads more. The kids don't like to go there, lol.
There she is! Riding in true lazy style, lol. One of the neighbor ladies said 'well, she's not stupid!' She thought it was a smart idea on Kate's part! Ha!
Finally, a GREAT picture of Lane!
Kayleigh finally got tired when we were about to head home. She had to catch a ride with Kate.
A quick bath and then time to dig into the loot! Josh took Lane to a few more houses before they came in.
A lap full of plastic spiders. She loves them for some reason.
Another day, Kayleigh has been doing some pre-k worksheets. This time her dollhouse mommy was helping her with them.
(I helped her write her name)
And a couple Thanksgiving pictures!
And now some Christmas prep. The kids and I made some salt dough ornaments so they could have unbreakable things to hang on their mini trees. I got them each a little tree for their rooms on sale after Christmas last year.
Anyway, that is all for now. I'll probably update again right after Christmas :)
Love you all! xoxo

Goats and Sheep.

Time to milk the cow!
Ok, funniest part of the day. Kayleigh was sooooo excited to milk the cow, she talked about it all day! But when it came time to do it, she wouldn't go near the udder. Well once we all got done (some other kids were still going) Josh and I asked her why she didn't want to do it? Well, she said she didn't want to touch the cows butt. Omg, we nearly died laughing!! We had to explain to her that it wasn't the cows butt, and told her basically what it was (in terms she could understand) and then she was ready to do it! Check out the pictures, you can easily tell which is the before and after, lol.
Baby chicks and Ducks!
Our friend that was with us took this picture from the front, I need to get the picture she has!
Lane, checking out the Zorse. (zebra mixed with horse)

Pigs. Big, stinky, pigs.

Hay ride!
Kate sat by our friend, Jay.
I don't know what this evil look was about, but it was funny!

And the end of the day, pick a pumpkin time!

A quick bath and then time to dig into the loot! Josh took Lane to a few more houses before they came in.
He already looks like he's had a few too many pieces!
First thing in the morning, already has a bunch of stuff out!A lap full of plastic spiders. She loves them for some reason.
Another day, Kayleigh has been doing some pre-k worksheets. This time her dollhouse mommy was helping her with them.

And a couple Thanksgiving pictures!
I would have preferred traditional green trees but they only had these 3 colors. I figured the kids would still love them, if not love them more, so we went with some funky ones :)
Lane's tree.
Kayleigh's tree.
Kate's tree.
Hopefully this will keep them from redecorating our big tree 5 times a day. Kayleigh's has already been redone many times, as you can probably tell!Anyway, that is all for now. I'll probably update again right after Christmas :)
Love you all! xoxo
